Smart Start Week 34

\
\

Our final week of Smart Start was nothing short of amazing! We brought back more of our favorite things and surprised our friends to some special treats!

We revisited some of our favorite activities, such as playing with the barn and animals, engaging in imaginative play where friends took turns being the teacher, building with Legos, experimenting with construction using metal spheres and magnetic rods, petting our class pets, playing games, and enjoying time with our friends and teachers.

Popular sensory activities involved using Floam as a construction tool and exploring a tray filled with vibrant alphabet pasta, where participants collaborated to excavate dinosaurs and then categorize them by type or color.

Artists delved into a shelf filled with numerous art supplies and created beautiful works of art to share with teachers, friends, and family. Some seized the chance to use the popular tempera sticks one last time to craft distinctive pieces of art! Wiggle Room provided an open opportunity for friends to design their own obstacle course and dance!

Our outside classroom was the perfect spot to break bread together on our picnic days and enjoy extra time outside! Friends enjoyed outside games, singing, dancing, and making up games to play! Most of all, we all just enjoyed being together.

Alongside our picnic days on Monday and Tuesday, we delighted our friends with a special surprise of a movie and popcorn on Wednesday, followed by snow cones on Thursday! It was a fantastic way to conclude Smart Start 2024-25!

Snow Cones!!!!
When they hear the music, friends will always join in to sing.

“What’s been your favorite thing about Smart Start this year?” - Interview

We have thoroughly enjoyed having your children with us this year! Thank you for giving us the opportunity to spend time with them. We are grateful for your input and support. In the coming days, we will send out a brief survey and would greatly appreciate your feedback. Please keep an eye out for it!

Enjoy your break! We look forward to seeing you at camp or Smart Start Squad this summer!
