ArtWorks at the Creek
We are so excited to host our third summer of camps at The Creek! ArtWorks owns a 20+ acre woodland camp featuring cabins, trails, and a spectacular creek. This new space is the perfect setting for all kinds of art in the great outdoors. Campers will experience nature and classic summer fun at The Creek!
Join us this summer for a season full of creativity and exploration! Our camps offer a diverse lineup of hands-on experiences including Culinary Arts, Immersive Art sessions, and exciting Nature Camps. With age-specific programming designed to inspire and engage, there's something for every young artist and adventurer. Come create, learn, and grow with us!

Arts Immersion Week Long Camp

Good news–– this year we're offering Arts Immersion twice! Same amazing activities, same creative experience, just more chances to join the fun. Pick the session that fits your schedule— or come to both!
July 13 - 17 & July 27 - 31
At Camp ArtWorks, campers will explore the world of fine arts through classes, games, and hands-on activities. Campers will experience music, movement, drama, visual art, aerial silk, nature, photography, and so much more! Camp ArtWorks is a place for young artists to try new things, meet new friends and have an outrageously fun summer camp experience close to home. Our camp staff and volunteers are all passionate artists who show up for camp each day full of joy and excitement. At Camp ArtWorks, kids can let their imaginations run wild and set their creativity free!
1st-8th Grade Art & Nature Day Camp
Discover the wonder waiting just outside! Our Nature Camps invite children to slow down, look closely, and discover the art that lives within the natural world. From the patterns on a leaf to the colors of wildflowers and the textures of stones and bark, campers will explore nature as both artists and scientists.
Through hands-on exploration, creative art experiences using natural materials, and playful investigations into the science all around us, children will deepen their appreciation for the beauty and curiosity nature inspires. Along the way, campers will build friendships, share discoveries, and enjoy the kind of joyful learning that only camp can bring.
PreK/Kindergarten Art & Nature Day Camp
This camp for children ages 4-6 will feature nature walks, games, activities, and crafts. Campers will enjoy playing outside, exploring, and creating at Art and the Outdoors at The Creek! Led by our Smart Start staff and teen volunteers, this day camp will get your little explorer outside and into nature while also getting creative!
Culinary Arts Camp
Calling all future chefs! Culinary Arts Camp is a hands-on, 3-day culinary experience designed for young cooks who are ready to explore the exciting world of food. Campers will step into the kitchen as real chefs in training—learning essential cooking skills, practicing kitchen safety, and creating delicious recipes from scratch. From mastering knife skills and baking science to exploring global flavors and competing in a fun Mystery Box Challenge, each day is filled with creativity, teamwork, and confidence-building in the kitchen. We will step outside to explore nature and connect food to where it begins. Campers will help create seed strips for planting vegetables, encouraging them to continue their adventures at home while learning about the journey from garden to table.

Thanks to generous donors and community partners, we are pleased to offer scholarships to support children's participation in our Summer Camps. These scholarships help ensure that financial need is not a barrier to accessing enriching experiences that foster creativity, learning, and personal growth.
