2025-26 Smart Start Week 12

This week was a short but meaningful two-day review before Thanksgiving, and our classroom was full of excitement, curiosity, and gratitude. Even with the break just around the corner, our friends jumped right into exploring, revisiting favorite activities, and sharing time together. It was the perfect little stretch to slow down, look back on what we’ve learned, and enjoy the season with our Smart Start friends.
One special thing we wanted to highlight this week is our hope that the Spoon of Thanks helped spark a new tradition in your home. It was such a joy to see our friends share what they were thankful for, and we hope those moments carried into your family time as well.
We are also deeply grateful for the generosity each family showed during our food drive. Ms. Christy delivered our donations to God’s Food Pantry, and she was met with heartfelt gratitude from several people waiting to receive food. Your kindness has reached far beyond our classroom—touching families in our community and making a meaningful difference. Thank you for sharing your hearts with others.
As we wrap up this short but meaningful Thanksgiving holiday, we are filled with gratitude for the joy, generosity, and togetherness that your children bring into Smart Start each day. Thank you for supporting our traditions, participating in our projects, and sharing in the spirit of the season with us. We hope you have had a restful and joy-filled Thanksgiving break, and we can’t wait to welcome everyone back as we begin the Christmas season together.
See you soon,
The Smart Start team
