Smart Start Weeks 11, 12, and 13
The holidays are here and that means our days are just as full as our hearts! We have been up to a lot the last three weeks inside and outside of the classroom. This week's blog post is a recap of our headfirst dive into the holiday season!
Week 11 was a short week due to Thanksgiving Break. We took those two days to do a lot of review. We learned so much in the first 10 weeks of Smart Start and it was exciting to see so much retention and mastery!

This exciting adventure is a way for us to introduce our students to our neighbors in our neighborhood as we make our way around the square looking for the Gingerbread Man. We visit the bank, shops, a restaurant and pass the courthouse, judicial center, and more. This gives us a fun way to introduce these important places and the community helpers that work there.
