Madness. Utter madness.
Who would have ever imagined a month like this. When we marched into this month, we had plans for so many wonderful things. Almost all of those plans are now on pause. A lot of us are at home and wondering about what comes next.
While none of us can know for sure what the next days, weeks, perhaps months hold, we do know this one thing...we will keep going.
ArtWorks believes 100% in the power of creativity and innovation. Those things work. And, in times of pressure and constraint, they often work most powerfully. While no one would wish for the situation we're in, we are looking forward to the other side of this pandemic and the stories and examples of artful, innovative thinking, living and working that we believe will be a benefit to us all in the years to come.
In the meantime, we want to first of all send our love to our Smart Start students and families. We love each of you dearly and are thinking of you constantly. We are working on ways to stay connected and have some fun, even while keeping physical distance.
Second, we want to share some happy photos and videos to brighten your day! Our March was cut short, but we still managed to work in lots of fun and learning. Here are some photos and videos from our Seussical, magical March!
Sweet Smart Starters! Until we see you back in our classroom, we want you to dance, draw, read, tell stories, discover, paint, plant, sing, explore, talk, share, hug, and create with your family. Oh, what stories we will have to share when we see each other again. Ms. Debbie, Ms. Jess and Ms. Marisa send each of you a bear hug and all our love! 💛
