2022/2023: Week 14

T'was the week before Christmas Break!

With Christmas in our heels, we danced through Letter C Week. From castle-building and candy cane crafts to cranberry counting and cotton ball tossing, we celebrated the joy, color, light, and love of the Christmas season this week; it was magic!

The excitement culminated during our Classroom Christmas Party. It was a delight to have our entire 2022/2023 Smart Start Crew together for this celebration. We partied with reindeer games, Christmas Carols, and yummy Christmas treats.

The day's highlight was opening the gifts so generously donated to our classroom. Each student and teacher got to open something that we will all enjoy together for the rest of the year. The room was electric as we waited for the countdown to tear into the gifts.

We tore into the packages together and then everyone got to show and tell what was inside their package. There was a lot of joy in the room as we gushed over the fun new toys and tools for our classroom.

Smart Start families, we cannot thank you enough for your generosity. Thank you for blessing our classroom with so many things that will make our learning and play extra special for the rest of this year. From our Smart Start Team to you and your family, we wish you a very MERRY CHRISTMAS!
